The Two’s program begins to introduce a structured daily routine and daily schedule. Your child will learn through imaginative play and social interaction, as well as guided sensory and academic activities.
Your child’s vocabulary will grow through daily story time and instruction centered around letter recognition. In addition, your child will begin to learn the foundations of math concepts through activities such as:
-
Sorting items by shape, size, and color
-
Counting
-
Experimenting with textures
Two’s grow their understanding of colors and shapes and fine motor skills through artwork and enjoy time on the playground daily!
Three’s have the opportunity to explore learning centers and engage in dramatic play. In addition, each day, three’s will participate in circle time in which students discuss weather and temperature, work on letter recognition and some letter sounds, and continue identifying shapes, colors, and sizes.
Daily table activities help to grow each child’s fine motor skills through letter and line tracing, cutting with safety scissors, and puzzles. Student’s continue their understanding of math skills by sorting and counting groups of tangible materials. Teachers use story time to begin exploring characters and story plots by asking questions like, “What do you think will happen next?” and “Who is the main character in this story?”.
Each day, three’s play outside and learn fun songs with exciting movements!
Four’s are tackling the task of prepping for kindergarten! Children are engaging in a structured classroom and begin each day with an activity designed to promote letter recognition and grow fine motor skills such as:
-
Letter and line tracing
-

Circle time consist of letter recognition, letter sounds, basic mathematical functions, and character education. Our program is designed to promote social emotional skills such as listening, understanding feelings, and conflict resolution.
Teachers introduce mathematical skills such as patterns, graphs, reasoning, and problem solving. Students are given the opportunity to express themselves creatively through guided artwork and craft and through artistic free “play” – painting, coloring, drawing.
Fours enjoy daily songs and movement and outdoor playground time!
